As a Democratic candidate for Congress in Georgia, I am committed to fostering a more equitable, prosperous, and inclusive future for every Georgian. My platform is centered on key principles aimed at addressing pressing issues and championing progress that benefits our communities.
1. Medicare for All: Healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege. I advocate for accessible, affordable healthcare for all Georgians. I will work to expand Medicaid, lower prescription drug costs, and ensure comprehensive healthcare coverage, prioritizing maternal care and mental health support.
2. Education as a Priority: Quality education is the cornerstone of progress. I will fight for increased funding for public schools, address student debt, and advocate for affordable higher education. Every child in Georgia deserves access to a quality education that prepares them for the future.
3. Environmental Stewardship: Protecting our environment is crucial for future generations. I support initiatives for clean energy development, investing in green technologies, and preserving Georgia's natural resources to combat climate change while creating green job opportunities.
4. Social Justice: I stand for equity and justice for all. I will work to reform our criminal justice system, address systemic racism, and promote policies that foster inclusivity and equality for every Georgian, regardless of race, gender, or background.
